What’s your vision?
“Without vision, the people perish.”
Proverbs 29:18
“Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others.”
Jonathan Swift
“It is a terrible thing to see and have no vision.”
Helen Keller
You’ve got to have a vision for your life – who you want to be, what you want to do, how you want to live.
Your vision gives you the purpose to live and the reason to excel.
Without vision, you could easily wander and drift. You get tossed about and pushed around. You lose direction and drive. Little troubles overwhelm you. You groan with frustration and you moan in despair. Life becomes a struggle that you can’t escape, a meaningless journey that you must take.
You’ve heard the saying: Nothing’s impossible. It happens to be true.
What was thought impossible a hundred years ago is possible today. What you think may be impossible today will be a possibility tomorrow.
Anything that starts out as a vision ends up as a reality. It’s been true of every great invention and achievement in history. It’ll be true for your vision as well.
Sure your vision may not be as great as that of Gandhi or Kennedy or Einstein or Bill Gates. Your vision may only be to be on the national soccer team or to have a franchise of your own.
That’s OK. A vision is a vision after all, and your vision is the greatest one for you.
Believe in it wholeheartedly. Believe it’s possible. Believe that one day it will be a reality.
It will be, if you believe it will.
